Did you know that 97% of homebuyers who searched for a home on the internet found PHOTOS to be among the MOST useful features of REALTOR® websites, according to the 2014 NAR Profile of Home Buyers & Sellers?

It's true that most agents invest in their image.   However, successful agents invest in the client's image as well.  You only have one chance to make a first impression.  Make it count!  Listing photos are the most valued feature of real estate websites today.  Quality images generate interest, which can turn casual shopping into showings.  Sellers hire professional real estate agents with the expectation that their home will be presented to the market in the best possible light, garnering more exposure and paving the way to a swift sale that maximizes their return.  It's the listing agents duty to compile images and descriptions that highlight the features of their client's home.  Great listing agents know that amateur photography and cell phone photos don't accurately depict their client's property.  Nor do they support value or compel buyers.  Sellers look to their agent for trusted advice and expertise when it comes to getting the most out of their investment.  If a few brief lines of text and several cell phone photos posted to the internet was all that was necessary to sell ones home in a timely manor and without repeated reductions, why would they need a listing agent? 
 
Professional real estate photographs also play a critical roll in exposing listings to out-of-town buyers.   In Florida, it's not at all unusual for a home to sell, physically unseen.  With buyers having only viewed the property virtually.
 
According to a recent Redfin study, on average, homes with professional photos sell anywhere from the high hundreds to tens of thousands more than homes photographed by an amateur. The study also shows that professionally photographed homes are viewed 61% MORE frequently online
 
More views translate to more interest.  More interest converts to more traffic.  That means more potential buyers, which could bring more offers.  One thing is for sure –  better photos create better opportunities!
